Refreshing times!
For those of you that are visitng this blog after such a long time of neglect, I commend you! I apologize for dragging my feet for so long in getting a new post up. The last few weekends have been filled with fun memories and cute pics that compel me to share with all my wonderful friends.
Over three weeks ago, our great friend Grace came to visit Tim and I in Denver. Although I was getting over a terrible sickness called "Labrinthytis" that caused me to have a terrible inner ear infection which resulted in severe dizziness and nausea, we were still able to show Grace some of our favorite places. These included the beautiful Botanic Gardens, Tim's top brewery in town called The Great Divide, a delicious vegetarian restaurant called WaterCourse, and topped it off with Licks ice cream. Thanks Grace for visiting us and refreshing and encouraging us with your presence!
The following weekend Tim and I headed to Bend, Oregon to visit my mom. It was a great treat to meet all of the friends she has made since she and my step dad moved up there a few years ago. She definitely pampered us with yummy food and massages! Bend is located in Central Oregon and has gorgeous sites for hiking, fishing, and rock climbing. We were able to visit the Metolius river and take a hike along the rushing waters.
Then to top off the series of fun weekends, Jen and her son Jordan came to visit Tim and I for a long weekend. It was a blast to spend some quality time with Jen, learning from all her
To the right are some pics from our hike to St. Mary's Glacier. With all this training at high altitudes, I think Jordan has the potential to be quite the hiker!
