a home to the orphaned animals

Sierra came into our lives in February. Sonn after pulling into the driveway one day, a little puppy about 3 months old came running up to him. It didn't take long for our heart strings to get attached! We took her to a local shelter, but to our benefit, no one claimed her and we took her into our home. Sierra is a bundle of energy and requires lots of exercise. We are not sure exactly what bread she is--some kind of lab-mix. She loves fetching, snuggling up on the couch, and chasing squirrels.

Wayne shortly thereafter also won the heart of my husband as a stray cat in the neighborhood that loved to come up to us for affection when we were outside. He was unfortunately diagnosed with lukemia, so we hope he has a few years with us. He loves chasing the broom, drinking out of the sink, and hanging out between the shower curtain and liner (not quite sure why).
