A Christmas full of snow!

As many of you heard on the news, Colorado has been slammed with snow this year. Two big storms came through Denver a few days before and after Christmas dumping up to three feet in less than 24 hours. Tim and I were snowed in for a couple days, which turned out to be a nice break from our busy schedules. Below is a picture of the front of our house after the first storm

We snowshoed around our neighborhood and drank lots of peppermint hot chocolate. This Christmas was also especially memorable because we were blessed to spend it with dear friends that came into town for the holidays (Mark and Rach from England, Eric and Carolyn from Vancouver, Deva an Brian from Ohio, and Jeremy and Sarah from Montana). Our guest bedroom got lots of use :) We had a blast with Mark and Rachel in the mountains snowshoeing and snowboarding!

Below are a couple photos from Christmas--Tim's highlight present involved the overalls. I gave in and bought some after he expressed on numerous occasions how much he would enjoy a pair and he certainly has so far :)

Jess, everything about your Christmas sounds so.... cozy! It was 111 degrees here yesterday! I must say, I am excited to return to winter. A warm January will never make sense to me.

Please note that I am extremely jealous about all the friend-action you've had. I think some Grace time is in order, don't you?

Your cat is funny looking. ...is he (she?) quite perky in real life or the walking beanbag that she (he?) appears to be?
